Growing up in sunny South Florida, I saw beauty in the world around me at young age. Though I had been making art for years, I, like many others, rediscovered my artistic hobbies during the pandemic in 2020. I was sent home from my study abroad semester in Tübingen, Germany and was suddenly thrust from the excitement of living in a new country into the boredom of a 2-week quarantine in my parent’s bedroom.

During this time, I did all I could to keep from losing my mind. Mostly, I made art. Over the course of the next several months, I worked feverishly on many pieces, trying new mediums and honing my skills. Thankfully, I was able to sustain my practice after I returned to college in New York for the fall of 2021 and onward to the present day.

Some of my greatest influences are Leonid Afremov, Wassily Kandinsky, and Salvadore Dali.
